Building a better future together
The Bbaale Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable children and young people in Uganda. According to UNICEF, there are more than 2 million orphans in Uganda. Poverty, minimal healthcare, child abuse, missing out on education, and unemployment are problems many of them face daily.
We recognize that children are the future, and we believe that orphans and street children need a safe place to live and the opportunity for education. To achieve this, we work with local people in the Wasiko district.
With the help of local residents, we place these children and young people with families. We teach them to provide for themselves by offering various services such as education programs, vocational training, medical care, coaching, financial support, and more. This gives them the opportunity to develop their skills and hope for a better future.

Care from Families
For over 10 years, the Bbaale Foundation has been supporting vulnerable children by ensuring they grow up in safe, caring family environments. We believe every child deserves love, protection, and a sense of belonging within a family setting.
We work closely with families and caregivers, offering guidance through trained social workers and practical support to help them provide stable and nurturing homes for children in need.
Through education support and life skills training, we empower children and young people to become confident, self-reliant, and hopeful about their future. Our programmes focus on learning, personal development, and resilience.
With the support of our partners and community, we continue to strengthen families and create lasting change. Together, we can reach more children and families and build a brighter future for the next generation.
